For the North Atlantic... Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
A line of thunderstorms centered roughly over the Yucatán Peninsula persists this morning. A surface low-pressure-area associated with the wave has been located near Belize. Cyclogenesis is not expected today as the low pressure system tracks over land. It is expected to track northwest into the Gulf of Mexico in the coming days where there is potential for tropical or subtropical development, before it passes over the Texas coast early this week.
