For the North Atlantic... Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
Disorganized showers and thunderstorms extending across the western Caribbean Sea are associated with an upper-level trough. A surface area of low pressure may form near the Yucatan Peninsula over the weekend and track northwestward into the central Gulf of Mexico, where upper-level winds will be marginally conducive for development. Regardless of tropical cyclogenesis, heavy rainfall capable of producing landslides is likely to impact Central America over the next few days and could affect Texas by midweek.
