WIKI-HURRICANES FORECASTING CENTER

200 AM EDT SAT JUN 13 2015

For the North Atlantic... Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

Disorganized showers and thunderstorms extending across the western Caribbean Sea are associated with an upper-level trough. A surface area of low pressure may form near the Yucatan Peninsula over the weekend and track northwestward into the central Gulf of Mexico, where upper-level winds will be marginally conducive for development. Regardless of tropical cyclogenesis, heavy rainfall capable of producing landslides is likely to impact Central America over the next few days.

*Formation chances through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent

*Formation chances through 120 hours...low...20 percent
