Tropical Storm Pablo | Winds: 40 kt |
Pressure: 992 mbar | |
Advisory 3 / 11:00 PM AST, Friday October 25, 2019 | |
Pablo has changed little in organization over the past few hours. The system continues to intermittently display an eye-like feature, although convection has transformed to more of a curved spiral band around the center over the past few frames. ASCAT data from this afternoon indicated winds of 35kt. Given potential undersampling, the initial intensity remains at 40kt. Little change in strength is expected given the baroclinic environment Pablo is embedded in, and the system should simply transition to an extratropical low about 24 hours from now as it curves north-northeast through the eastern Azores. Dissipation is expected between days 3 and 4.
