Waxe, wane, rinse, and repeat. The admittedly impressive burst of deep convection that occurred around the time of the previous advisory has begun to fade under the effects of very strong westerly wind shear. Earlier scatterometer data supported an intensity of 35kt, and that is the initial intensity used here. There is nothing new to add to the forecast for Iba. Strong upper-level winds and dry air will likely destroy the storm later today as it moves southeast and then east. Dissipation is expected in about four days.
